Are contributions to your organization tax deductible?

Yes. Our organization is exempt from Federal income tax under section 501(c) (3) of the [United States] Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to our organization are deductible under section 170 of the Code. Our organization is also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under sections 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the Code.

Are you a government organization?

No. We are an independent organization that represents only the interests of our membership. We are not affiliated with any government, political, commercial, or religious organization.

Are you an American organization?

While we are founded by Americans and are incorporated in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (USA), participation in our organization is all-inclusive. All people regardless of nationality, citizenship, or country-of-origin are eligible to join.

Are you associated with the Ulster Historical Foundation?

No. The Ulster Historical Foundation is a separate and distinct organization. To learn more about them, please visit www.ancestryireland.com.

Are you involved in politics?

No. We do not participate in or sponsor any political activities; support any political organization or politician; or promote any political ideology, agenda, or position.
