Host Families Needed in Washington DC Area

The Washington Ireland Program (WIP) needs families in the Washington DC area to host students aged 19-25 from June 5 to August 1, 2010. WIP gives students from Ireland and Northern Ireland professional experience in Washington DC's most prestigious internships.

Host families are expected to provide a place for the student to stay, food for them to either eat with the family or take for lunch, and general support for them while they are visiting. The students receive a stipend each week to cover extra food and transportation.  The closer a family is to public transportation, the better!  Click here for program key dates.
